Palak Paneer

2 bunches palak (spinach) washed and chopped
1/2 bunch methi leaves, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
2-3 green chillies, chopped
1-2 flakes garlic, crushed
1 tsp. ginger, grated
For Seasoning:
2-3 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder

1 onion, chopped

1 tsp. coriander powder
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1/4 tsp. garam masala
1/12 cups of fried cubed paneer (Paneer)
2-3 tbsp. butter
Salt to taste
In a large pan put chopped palak, methi, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and green chillies with 2 cups of water.
Boil till well done. (about 10 minutes)
Blend the boiled mixture to get a coarse paste.
Heat butter in a pan, add cumin seeds and allow to splutter. Add turmeric, onions and fry till well browned.
Add dry powders, stir for few minutes. Add palak paste, salt and cook for 5-8 minutes.

Add fried paneer pieces and mix well.
Serve hot with naan/chapatis/ rice.
