Ingredients:
1 cup poha ((flaked rice /avalakki)
1 onion, chopped
3-4 green chillies, cut length wise
2 tbsp. grated coconut
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chopped, coriander
Salt to taste

For Seasoning:
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1/2 tsp.cumin seeds
1 tsp. black gram
1 tsp. bengal gram
2 tsp. peanuts
1 long spring curry leaves
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder |
Method:
Soak the poha in water for 5 minutes. Wash
thoroughly and drain the water
completely.
Add salt, sugar, lemon juice, coconut and
coriander to the poha. Mix well
and Keep
aside.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, add seasonings
one by one and allow to splutter.
Add green chillies and onions,
stir fry.
When the onion starts browning add the poha
mixture and mix well.
Stir in for 3 to 5 minutes.
