Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1-1/2 cups fresh grated coconut
Salt to taste
Oil for roasting

Method:
Soak the rice for 4 hours. Grind rice and
coconut together to a fine paste
with water.
Add salt and mix well. Keep the batter for
1 hour.
Heat the griddle and grease with little oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter over
the griddle.
Spread it quickly and make it thin round
dosas. Pour a teaspoonful of
oil around the
edges.
Cover with the lid and cook for few minutes
until golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney. |
