Ingredients:
2 cups rava (semolina)
1-1/2 cups yogurt
A pinch of baking soda
2-3 tbsp. grated coconut
2 tbsp. shredded, carrot
1tbsp. chopped, coriander
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. grated, ginger
Salt to taste
Oil |
For Seasoning:
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. mustard seeds
1 tsp. cumin seeds
1 tbsp. cashewnuts

Method:
Fry rava until light brown. Remove from the heat and leave it to cool.
Add all the ingredients to the rava, mix
well and add little water if
necessary to
make a batter.
Heat oil in a pan, add seasonings,
when it starts to split, pour it over the batter and mix well.
Let the batter stay for 30 minutes.
Grease idli plates with oil and pour the
batter. Repeat it with all the idli plates.
Then place this idli stand in a pressure
cooker and cook for 10-12 minutes,
without
putting vent in a medium flame.
Serve with coconut chutney.
