Ingredients:
1 cup black gram
2 cups rice flour
2 tbsp poha (flaked rice /avalakki)
Salt to taste
Oil for roasting |
Method:
Soak the urad dal, poha for 5 hours. Grind
to a fine paste with water.
Add rice flour, salt to the paste and mix
well. Add water if required.
Keep covered for whole night. So that it
will ferment.
Heat the griddle and grease with little oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter over
the griddle.
Make it thick and small round dosas. Pour
a teaspoonful of oil around the
edges.
Cover it and cook for few minutes. When the
dosa is golden brown, turn the dosa and cook on the other side light brown.
Serve a set of 3 dosas topped with ghee and
chutney.
