Ingredients:
2 cups thin rice sevia
1/2 cup boiled mixed vegetables (beans, carrot,
green pepper,and peas)
2 onions, chopped
1 tomatoes, chopped
6-8 green chillies, chopped
2 tbsp. grated, coconut
1/2 tsp. grated ginger
1 long spring curry leaves
1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1/2 tsp. bengal gram
1/2 tsp. black gram
1/2 tsp.turmeric powder
1 tsp. curry powder
2 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Break the lengthy sevia into pieces and keep
it aside. Boil 4 cups of water in a pan, add turmeric,
salt and sevia.
Bring it to boil for 5-8 minutes (not over cooked) Remove from the heat and
drain.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, add mustard seeds,
after it splutters, add black
gram, bengal
gram and stir fry.
Add green chillies, ginger, curry
leaves
fry it for a while. Add onions
and fry till
light brown.
Then add tomatoes and fry them
until done.
Add salt, boiled vegetables,
coconut, curry
powder and mix well.
Now add boiled sevia, lemon juice
and coriander
leaves. Stir in 5 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
