Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1/2 cup toor dal
4 -5 carrots, thinly sliced
1/4 cup green peas
1 cup coconut milk
1-2 tomatoes, chopped
6-8 green chillies, chopped
1 tsp. grated, ginger
1 tbsp. mint leaves
1 tbsp. cashew nuts
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1 tbsp.oil
1 tbsp. ghee or butter
1 tbsp. coriander, chopped
Salt to taste

Method:
Grind the green chillies, ginger, mint to
a paste.
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard seeds,
when it pops add ground paste,
carrots, peas,
turmeric, cashews and tomatoes.
Fry for 5
minutes and remove from the heat.
Wash rice
and toor dal together and drain.
Put rice, toor dal, fried mixture,
salt,
ghee, cocont milk in the rice
cooker container.
Add 1 cup water, cover the cooker
and let
the rice cook. Garnish with coriander
leaves.
Serve hot with Raita.
