Ingredients:
1 cup rice
2 medium onions, chopped
2 tbsp. grated coconut
4-5 green chillies, chopped
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1 tsp. bengal gram
1 tsp. black gram
1 tbsp. peanuts
6-8 curry leaves
1 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped
Salt to taste. |
Method:
Cook rice and cool slightly.
Heat oil in a saucepan, add mustard seeds,
when it pops add bengal gram,
black gram and peanuts.
Fry until lightly browned. Add
onions, green
chillies, curry leaves and fry until golden brown.
Add rice, coconut, salt and mix
well. Remove from the heat. Garnish with coriander
leaves.
Serve hot or cold. |
