Puliyogare
Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1-2 tbsp. Puliyogare Mix
Salt to taste
3 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1 tbsp. peanuts
1/2 tsp. black gram
1/2tsp. bengal gram
1/2 tsp. asafoetida
6 curry leavesRoast and Powder the Following Ing:
1 tbsp. cumin seeds
1tsp. fenugreek seds
1 1/2 tbsp. sesame seeds
Method:
Cook rice and cool slightly.
Heat oil in a saucepan, add mustard seeds, when it pops add peanuts, bengal gram and black gram.
Cook for a few seconds until lightly browned. Add asafoetida, curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
Remove from the heat. Add rice, puliyogare mix, roasted powder, salt and mix well.
Serve cold.
