Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1 cup chopped mixed vegetables, boiled
(beans, carrots, bell pepper, peas)
1 onion, chopped
1 tomato chopped
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste
2 tbsp. Bhath Powder

Method:
Cook rice and cool slightly.
Heat oil in a sauce pan, add
mustard seeds,
after it splutters add onion,
turmeric and
fry until golden brown.
Add tomatoes fry for 5 minutes.
Add boiled
vegetables, baath powder, salt
and mix well.
Fry for 5-10 minutes.
Remove from the heat. Add rice,
lemon juice
and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves. |
