Ingredients:
15-20 Doddi Pathre Leaves
1 tbsp. ghee
1 tbsp. cumin seeds
6-8 pepper corns
1/2 cup grated coconut
1 tsp. tamarind juice
1 cup thick yoghurt
Salt to taste |
For Seasoning:
1 tsp. oil
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
1 long spring curry leaves

Method:
Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin,
pepper fry
it light brown, add doddi pathre
leaves fry
till light brown.
Grind fried mixture with coconut,
tamarind
and little water to a fine paste.
Put ground paste in a bowl add
yogurt, salt
and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan, add seasonings
when it
starts to split, stir into the
yogurt mix.
Serve with rice.
