Payaswini's Recipes





Ingredients:
2 cups gram flour (besan)
1 tbsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. ajwain (omam) seeds
1/2 tsp. asafoetida
2 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste
Water to make a dough
Oil to deep fry

Method:
Mix flour, chilli powder, ajwain seeds, asafoetida, salt in a bowl.Heat oil and add to the mixture.
Add enough water to make a dough. (It should be little sticky.)
Fill the dough in a sev press with small holes. Press into hot oil, and fry lightly browned.

Drain on paper towel. Store in an airtight container when cool.
