Ingredients:
2 cups rice flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
2 tbsp. dry coconut (copra / kobbari)
2 tsp. split peas powder (hurgadle / puttani)
1-2 tbsp. red chilli powder
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1/2 tsp.asafoetida
Salt to taste
Oil dor deep fry
Method:
Fry all purpose flour, fresh coconut and
dry coconut for few
minutes.
Then add the rice flour, split peas powder,
red chilli powder,
asafoetida, sesame
seeds
and salt and mix well.
Heat oil and add
to the mixture. Add enough water to make a dough. Knead well.
Take lumps of dough and roll into long noodles
then shape them into
round ring as bangles.
Heat oil and fry these bangles to golden
brown color.
Drain on paper towel. Store in an airtight
container when cool.
