| Lentil Soup |
Ingredients:
1 cup mixed lentils
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 onions, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1/4 tsp. chilli powder
1 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Bring lentils and water to a boil in a saucepan. Boil until the lentils are tender.
Add chopped vegetables, garlic and simmer untill all vegetables are soft.
Add tomato paste, chilli powder, pepper, salt and butter. Boil for 5-8 minutes.
Serve Hot.
