5-6 tomatoes, cut into big pieces
1-2 tsp. coriander seeds, crushed
1 tsp. cumin seeds, crushed
8 pepper corn, crushed
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp.corn flour or plain flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
Salt to taste
In a sauce pan combine tomatoes, coriander,
cumin, pepper, garlic and water.
Cover and cook until soft. Leave to cool, in a blender, blend and sieve
to a fine puree.
In a bowl, make a corn flour paste by adding
little water and keep aside.
In a sauce pan add tomato puree,corn flour paste, sugar, butter, salt and
bring it to boil.
If required add water, stirring continuously
and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Ladle the hot soup into individual soup bowls
and garnish with bread croutons.
