Ingredients:
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup milk (Just enough to grind the almonds)
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 tbsp. ghee
1/2 tsp. cardamom powder |
Method:
Soak almonds for about 5 to 6 hours. Peel
the almond skin and grind to a smooth paste
with milk.
In a non-stick pan, add almond paste, sugar
and cook on medium heat, then add ghee to it.
Stir periodically to avoid burning at the
bottom. Stirring continuously till a soft lump is
formed.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Remove
from the heat and spread into a greased tray.
Leave to cool then cut into squares.
