Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp. ghee
1/2 tsp. cardamom powder
Refined oil - for frying
Method:
Mix flour, sugar, ghee, cardamom powder, add enough water to make a soft dough.
Take a small sized ball of dough, roll it into a round thin shape.
Cut into diamond shapes. Deep fry them in hot oil till golden color.
Store in an airtight container.
Note:
(You can also make hot shankar poli by adding red chilli powder and salt to the mixture instead of sugar).
