Payaswini's Recipes





Ingredients:
1 cup rice flour
1 tsp. split peas powder (Hurgadle / Puttani)

1-1/2 cups jaggery, mashed
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
2 tbsp. ghee
1 tsp. cardamom powder
Method:
In heavy based sauce pan add jaggery, water and bring it to boil to a thick syrup.
Add coconut, ghee and stir. Keep stirring on low heat until the syrup is thick and sticky.

Remove from the heat. Add rice flour, split peas powder, cardamom and mix well.
Shape into small flat balls.

Serve cold.
