Ingredients:
2 cups boiled Avarekaalu (Toovar Lilva, Bean
seeds) Canned or Fresh
2 tbsp. Oil
1/2 tsp. Mustard seeds
2 Onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
6-8 Curry leaves
1 tsp. Lemon juice
Salt to taste

For Masala:
1/2 cup grated Coconut
Pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp. Cumin seeds
3-4 Green chillies
1 tsp.Ginger-Garlic paste
1 tbsp.Coriader leaves

Method:
Grind all the masala ingredients to a smooth
paste. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add
mustard seeds
allow to splutter, add onions,
turmeric,
curry leaves.
Fry till onions become light
brown, Add ground
paste, bean seeds, salt, and
water.
Bring it to boil on medium heat.
Cook for
5-8 minutes and remove from the
heat.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Serve with Rice Rotti OR Chapathi
